Reasons Why I Like MY Church

with 2 comments

Hannah’s post regarding her affections for the folks at Westminster really got me to thinking the past couple of days.  I have made some really close friends at WPC, they’re family really.  As everyone knows, I am a tough pill to swallow sometimes; yet, I have seen Christian love–real Christian love–towards me and my family in practise here in the truest sense of what Paul meant when he wrote about it and the way God designed it.

I think our community is a much better place for having the folks of WPC in it.  If they can love me, they can love anybody.  (And just watch–they’ll do it, too!)

On a completely different note: Be sure to come by Veterans Park at 6:15pm and cheer on the WPC Men’s softball team.  I can guarantee you that you’ll get your money’s worth!

  2. We lost by ONE RUN!! (Insert grunt indicating frustration here.)

We had the bases loaded with two outs in the last inning but couldn’t seal the deal. Charles Ackerman worked the count full and hit the ball hard, but the shortstop was very good and he made a great play to end the game.

We miss having the Ayers Clan in the stands!
