Still Standing

Chicken Coop Update: It appears that a simple weather phenomenon like a Category 2 hurricane is no match for my construction skills.  (I got major carpentry game, boy-ee!)  Both the ‘old’ hoop house and the new Condo Coop remain in place, exactly as I left them.  Well, the former is full of wet–and bothered–chickens but stand, they do!

On a serious note, God heard our pleading for safety and protection from scattered damage and we emerged completely unscathed–despite the fact that many folks out our way suffered a great deal.  (An old grocery store in town stands in a pile of 50 year-old bricks.)  Praise be to God for our safety–and that of our friends and loved ones!
